PokéDefense Deoxys weekly guide: Starfall Tower and rewards

For the week beginning November 2, 2026: catch Deoxys in the Weekly Challenge and climb the separate Starfall Tower for its own rewards.

Reviewed:

Start the Deoxys Weekly on Sky Pillar

Open Challenges → Weekly Challenge in the original game. This week uses Sky Pillar at night and six fixed Pokémon, rather than your collection team.

  • Your roster is Gastly, Sableye, Beldum, Clefairy, Solrock and Staryu. Establish compatible damage and control before buying more copies.
  • Meteor Shower gives enemies 25% more HP and makes them drop 30% more money. Deoxys arrives at wave 25.
  • The wave-20 map boss costs 20 lives if it escapes. Deoxys has its own 100-life escape cost; do not plan for an ordinary leak.

Read the four Formes before upgrading

Deoxys cycles Normal → Attack → Defense → Speed, changing every 8 seconds. The same attacker performs differently across this cycle.

  • Normal is the baseline. Attack takes 1.4× damage, but Psycho Boost can disable two nearby Pokémon within 230px for 3 seconds.
  • Defense takes 0.45× damage, a 55% reduction. Keep covering other enemies rather than judging your whole build from this phase.
  • Speed uses a 2.2× speed multiplier in the November 2 configuration. The short description says twice; this guide uses the configured 2.2× value.
  • Gastly and Sableye are useful damage options against the Psychic boss. Keep effective damage available while control and support cover the path. These are role-based choices, not a tested clear order.

Choose the activity for the reward

The Weekly Challenge and Weekly Battle Tower are different activities. Their Deoxys encounters do not give the same unlocks.

  • Defeating the Weekly Challenge Deoxys catches it and unlocks the Cosmic Rayquaza look. Clearing the challenge also grants its badge, frame and banner.
  • Cosmic Rayquaza is an appearance unlock, not a gift of Rayquaza itself. Use it after obtaining that Pokémon.
  • The Starfall Tower summit unlocks the Cosmic trophy and Shadow Lugia look. Its Deoxys is not catchable and does not grant Cosmic Rayquaza.

Draft for the Starfall Tower pool

Open Battle Tower → Weekly for the separate Starfall climb. Psychic is the featured type. Meteor Shower adds 25% enemy HP, 30% money drops and ₽300 starting funds.

  • The 12-line pool is Clefairy, Staryu, Beldum, Lunatone, Baltoy, Sableye, Duskull, Natu, Magnemite, Ponyta, Exeggcute and Bagon.
  • The five maps are Route 101 → Mt. Moon → Meteor Falls → Mt. Silver → Sky Pillar. Weather follows night → clear → clear → night → night.
  • Floor four brings Jirachi. The Forme-changing Deoxys joins Mewtwo at the summit. Separate this fight from the 25-wave Weekly Challenge.
  • Shared maps and pool do not promise identical starting drafts or card offers. Look for the missing damage type, Ghost coverage or control role at each pick.

Use the current event beside older planners

Check that the original game shows the week beginning November 2. Enter the correct Weekly activity, inspect the next wave and compare an upgrade you can afford.

  • This page follows the v288 event. Linked v164 reset and tower planners retain older snapshots; they do not reproduce this event’s new roster, modifiers or boss.
